    Storing and Handling Of Research Peptides - Best Practice Guidelines

    To maintain the quality and effectiveness of your peptides, please adhere to the following recommendations:

    Either keep your reconsitution water cool and let the peptide come to similar temp or if water is at room temp let the peptide come to room temp to reconstitute. Avoid shocking the peptide.

    Storing Freeze-Dried (Lyophilized) Peptides:

    Our peptides are supplied in a freeze-dried, or lyophilized, state. In this condition, they can stay stable for roughly 30 days at ambient temperature. If you won't be using them within this period, it's best to keep them in a freezer at approximately -20°C. This way, their shelf life extends to about 6-12 months depending on peptide.

    It's essential to note that your freezer should not have 'frost free' or 'auto defrost' features. Continuous freeze/thaw cycles might reduce the peptide's quality over time.

    Storing Peptides After Mixing:

    After turning the peptides into a liquid solution, they should be kept in a refrigerator at temperatures ranging from 2-8°C. If left at room temperature, they might start to break down in just 24 hours. So, it's advisable to refrigerate them immediately after preparation. When stored correctly in the refrigerator, their potency is retained for 2-8 weeks depending on peptide used.

    For extended storage in the refrigerator, many users find it helpful to divide the liquid peptide solution into individual syringes, each holding a single dose. These syringes are then frozen, with one being thawed when needed.

    Additional Information:

    • We ensure that peptides in stock are stored at temperatures of -40 to -180°C for 2-4 year shelf life.
    • However, we order using JIT forecasting so your peptides are fresh and typically newly manufactured.
    • Once mixed, handle the peptides gently. Avoid shaking them as it might affect their structure.
    • Keep peptides in closed containers, separate from any food items.
    • Do not mix peptides in the same vial or syringe
    • Use a soon as possible once reconstituted

    What should I use to reconstitute my peptides?

    BAC, deionized water or saline depending on the peptides structure. Different peptides require different mediums - always know your peptides and what water is needed for proper reconstitution and storage.

    When will my peptides arrive?

    If in stock you will receive same day if located within the region & typically 1-3 days via post order. If not in stock, it may take up to 15-20 working days depending on customs control and difficulty of manufacturing.

    We no longer ship internationally in order to reduce error rates.

    We ship orders at 4PM daily. Any order in stock that is placed after 3PM will be shipped the next working day at 4PM.

    No exceptions. Verbal abuse, improper addressess, demands and threats will not be tolerated and you will be blacklisted.

    How do I pay?

    • Strict Expiry Protocols

    To maintain maximal peptide integrity, MindTek enforces an internal storage threshold that is significantly stricter than manufacturer-labeled shelf life.

    While certain peptides may carry a labeled stability of up to four years under ideal cryogenic conditions, we do not release standard inventory that has been held longer than eight months. The sole exception applies to highly customized or made-to-order formulations that require extended preservation by design.

    If any peptide approaches this internal eight-month threshold, it is reconstituted and analytically verified prior to release to confirm structural integrity, consistency, and reliability. Products that do not meet our internal benchmarks are not shipped.

    This conservative protocol ensures that all peptides supplied meet real-world performance expectations—not theoretical maximums.

    • HPLC Reports & Advanced Testing

    In-house HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) reports are available upon request, though they are not mandatory for standard orders.

    • Liquid Nitrogen Transfer for Long-Term Preservation

    Peptides that require extended preservation beyond standard storage timelines may be transferred to liquid nitrogen (-180°C) environments for future use.
